Abstract

A novel maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique is presented in this research, combining a single-ended primary inductor converter (SEPIC) with a Perturb and Observe algorithm fuzzy logic controller (P&O-FLC). This advanced controller builds upon the traditional perturb and observe method by incorporating rules into its search strategy, fuzzifying the process, and addressing its limitations. Compared to standard MPPT approaches, fuzzy logic controllers exhibit superior precision and rapid convergence to the maximum power point, maintaining effectiveness in both stable and fluctuating weather conditions. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of this innovative controller.
